Halloween Witch Painting Blythe on Ebay
This months Nibblefest theme was gnarled trees, so of course I had to make a “big eyed” tree, and somehow a Blythe style girl made her way into the painting. Sometimes my muses take over.
This little Gothic witch looks like she worried about one of the larger witches traveling above her. Someone ought to take her home and keep her safe.
This is an original painting, not a print.

Paper Piecing
Awhile back I came up with my own "twist" on paper piecing. The term paper piecing is used in quilting and refers to the unique, intricate designs used. The term also refers to scrapbooking layouts.
My paper piecing is using pieces of hand-cut artistic papers to create and design a work of art. In small works, such as this set of ACEO's (Art Cards Editions & Originals), I had to use tweezers to handle the teeny-tiny pieces of paper. Each card takes a few hours to complete. The result is OOAK. I don't make prints of my ACEO's and no two are alike!
This set started out as 5 separate trading cards in a SERIES of Native American paper piecing folk art cards. 2 from the set sold in ebay auctions earlier this year. The remaining 3 shown here are currently FOR SALE on my website under the ACEO section. The back of each is designed to coordinate with the front of the card and is signed/dated and marked for the SERIES, for collecting purposes.
A nice unique SET to add to any ACEO collection!

Daisy Pitcher & Glassware Set
My Pitcher and glassware set has been painted with non- toxic acrylic paint and heated in the oven so the paint is fused onto the glassware. These pieces are for everyday use and can either be handwashed or placed in the dishwasher.

The Gnomes Are Coming!
I've sculpted some new little fellows to add to my portfolio and to sell.....little gnomes. Now, these are not your typical red-hat-wearing garden gnomes. These are a mere 3 inches tall, with pointy ears and brightly painted clothes. They're funny, cute and whimsical, don't you think?

This is the featured item on my website for the month of October.
A whimsical SET OF 9 Pumpkin People and Pumpkins. This is my own design; hand-sculpted from polymer clay, then baked, painted with bright, vibrant acrylics and glazed for long-lasting use. Each set is OOAK as I do not use molds, kits or patterns. The tallest in the set measures appr. 2-1/2 to 3 inches tall.
Great for Halloween decorating and use just the mini pumpkins for Thanksgiving decor!
