Autumn Inspiration - Staci Rose Designs

I love the seasons of transition - Spring and Fall. I can relate to change so deeply that I enjoy watching the world change right before my eyes. The stunning scape of trees sleeping and leaves painted and falling. The beauty, the diversity and not to mention a great harvest! Squash, pomegranate, corn, apples - pumpkin pie, pomegranate salad, corn on the cob and cider.

I'm getting hungry...

Sacré Couer , Paris France new watercolor and ink Painting

I'm still exploring ink and watercolors this week..this one is now on etsy

Picture "retakes" of My Sculpted Ornaments

I've been sculpting and selling my Christmas ornaments since 2000. It was about time to take some better pictures. So my site and my Etsy shop have been updated with new pics. They really came out good for the most part.

http://redladyarts.etsy.com

Here's a few examples of the handsculpted Christmas ornaments I currently have for sale:

No two ornaments are exactly alike, even if based on the same design, because no molds are used in my sculpting work. Each is hand-sculpted from solid polymer clay, baked, painted with professional grade acrylics and glazed. A gold thread hanger is attached.

Wouldn't YOUR Christmas tree look adorable decorated with some of my ornaments? Hand down from generation to generation for a sentimental holiday heirloom.

More Christmas sculptures (not just ornaments), are available on my website:

Business Card Holders with Native American theme

24 scrabble tiles make up the base of my new business card holders. They are strongly adhered with professional grade wood glue. I woodburn each one and hand-paint with acrylics, then varnish. (shown in pics without varnish to avoid glare)

So far, I have 2 business card holders for sale in my Etsy shop. Each is OOAK; no two will ever be just alike. Each side of the holder is different from the other side....2 different kachinas on each holder.

These would make a cool gift for anyone who enjoys Native American culture and decor, unique items, woodburning, masks.

The Talebearer

This mixed media collage' is squared 12 x 12 and is for sale on my website:

http://redladyart.com

See the "COLLAGE" section.

Background is painted with acrylics. Collage' with hand-drawn hand-cut silhouette, found text, ephemera. Signed by me. This is a OOAK, original. No prints will be made.

Note: the bottom portion was cut off in the scan. The buildings are a little taller than they appear. Also, some browsers are showing this work a little more orange than it truly is. The background was painted with various hues of yellow.

I have looked at other "Free Flash" sites, and most of them seem pretty lame. WIX however is pretty cool. There is a lot of lag at times, but I think that may work itself out. or it could be my connection. So that being said I am recommending it if your looking to create a slick flash site. Although I would always keep a basic HTML site available for people who don't want flash.
SO here si my Falshy Flash site, it's still in a beta condition, but feel free to pop by and post a comment here.
