OOAK Triptych ACEO's in my Etsy Shop!

I've just added a new triptych set of ACEO's to my shop inventory and thought I'd post pics of the others I have available also. These are OOAK sets of 3 original ACEO's. Prints are not made of these. They are marked 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, for collecting purposes.

Horse running through the snow.

This painting was part of a two hour painting challenge. I had two hours to complete the painting, from start to finish!

I liked the way the horse was running through the snow, which flew up underneath his hooves.

**NEW** HAIKU Art ACEO Set!

I designed a set of Purple Tree HAIKU ACEO's (Artists Cards Editions & Originals) a few years ago; after initially creating Purple Tree Note Cards and selling them for awhile.

NEW...this same design is now available in RED via my website OR my new Etsy shop! This set of 5 ACEO's includes 5 different 5/7/5, 17-syllable HAIKU written on the backs in India Ink.

This set is so much nicer in person than the pic can depict. It's a wonderful set to give as a gift to a special friend and/or loved one. OR...give away one-at-a-time to lift someone's spirit, bring a smile to someone's face or just to say "have a nice day" in a HAIKU kind of way. :)

I ship the set in matching artsy fiber paper wrapped with fibers.

If you'd rather have the PURPLE set, it's still available in both shops also.

Newest Celtic Tree of Life Drawing

I started this on the weekend, and just finished it this morning. It's the latest in my Tree of Life series of drawings, done in ink on textured handmade mulberry paper. The paper has real leaf and petal inclusions, for a wonderful earthy feel. This piece would make a unique addition to a collection of Celtic or spiritual art.

Tree of Life Abstract Painting

This is my newest painting, the first in a series of small abstract paintings based on the Celtic tree of life. The tree of life is a common theme in my work, but I thought it would be fun to explore some modern interpretations inspired by this classic motif.

View of Camelot

After being out of town a lot lately, I was finally able to finish up and scan a painting I'd started ages ago. This painting was inspired by the poem "The Lady of Shallot". It shows my rendition of the view from her window, with Camelot visible in the distance. (Here Camelot is based on Caernafon, one of the many castles I visited in Wales.)

Daisy's hat.

Our donkey, Daisy, doesn't mind wearing a hat. She doesn't even notice when she has one on her head, so I think it's fun to give her a farmer's cap. I'm going to find a sombrero for her this summer! Here she is, wearing her hat.
Thank you for stopping by our blog to see the work we create here.

Valentine cat.

Here's a little ACEO Valentine for your sweet heart! He looks like a Scottish Fold cat to me. Not all of them has ears that fold over. I like his nose...

I'll be posting him on ebay tomorrow for $1.00 and hoping to get some bids on him. Seller name, jackmorgan.

This is a watercolor/acrylic painting, sprayed with varnish for protection. 3.5X2.5 in size. Painted on 300 lb watercolor paper.

Paintings and art make wonderful Valentines day gifts! You can find something very specific for the one you love.

Remember, you can find horse art, wildlife art, cow art, and animal paintings, for sale on my website.

"Scratch Cat"

Many years ago, I babysat my neighbor's daughter. One day when she came to my house, I had a new cat. I told her she could pet the cat if she wanted to. She was about 3 years old at the time. She looked at me, and the cat very suspiciously, then she asked me, "Is it a "scratch cat"?

I had to laugh.

Last night, I was painting this "scratch cat" ACEO card. I had marked out the inside size of an ACEO and gessoed the watercolor paper in the 3.5X2.5 size. I got the cat painted on, all but his whiskers, then I thought if I added black to the outside edges, his whiskers could droop over the edge. So that's what I did!

He reminds me of Clint Eastwood, saying, "Make my day!"

Thanks for stopping by our WWAO blog. I know you'll enjoy all the art you find here!

Hand Painted Pink Rose Emu Egg Jewelry Box

My Pink Rose Emu Egg Jewelry Box is painted with acrylics and measures a large 5 1/2" x 10 1/2".
The inside of the box is lined and can hold quite a bit of jewelry. The beautiful wooden stand you see here, comes with each emu egg jewelry box I paint.

The gorgeous green/black color is the natural color of the egg. The design I've painted, wraps around the front and back of the egg. Pink Swarovski crystals have been added for extra sparkle.

To see more of my egg art, please visit my ETSY site at: http://www.eleganteggart.etsy.com/ or my website: http://www.artfulcreations.biz/ . I'm always happy to discuss custom designs for the unique jewelry box you might have in mind.

Old-Fashioned Ornaments Direct from the Artist

Hey hey everyone! I have a large inventory of hand-sculpted old-fashioned Christmas ornaments FOR SALE via my website:

http://redladyart.com/

These are adorable in person; the pics just cannot show the attention to the tiniest of detail I have applied to each one I sculpt. Each is my own, unique, OOAK design (the first in 2000). I never use molds, kits or any type of patterns in my artwork. Each ornament is OOAK even if based on the same design, varying in body position slightly, or perhaps paint color(s).

Each ornament is SOLID polymer clay--no fillers used. Each is reinforced inside with wire and or other support. I hand-sculpt each, then bake, paint with acrylics and glaze. A gold thread hanger is attached.

Children get a kick out of these little guys and they look great when you have an entire set on the tree. Choose from TOY SOLDIERS, SANTA, MRS. CLAUS, SITTING ELVES, ELF ON A CANDYCANE. I also sculpt cute little snowmen, but don't have pics online at this time. If you want a snowman, email me and I'll make one especially for you!

Chanuka is Around the Corner!

But my Chanukea's are here!

I had these extra Hebrew building blocks and woke up one morning with an idea to create Chanukea's (Chanukah Menorahs)! As you know, sometimes the image in your head doesn't always become the same in reality. But! I am very excited to share these four pieces I created!

Each Menorah measures approximately 11" x 3" x 3.5", has cork on the bottom to protect your surfaces, and is signed and dated. The metallic blue menorah is currently for sale in my Etsy shop, but please contact me if you would like to purchase one directly from me: stacirosedesigns@yahoo.com!

PS! These are the only four I created!
When they've sold - they're gone,
so hurry and place your order!!!
