Holiday Berries

With the holiday season right around the corner, I thought it would be fitting to paint at least one holiday themed painting this year. One can find these prickly holly plant all over Vancouver and their prickly leaves let you know if you've come a little too close. For more paintings, visit my blog or my Etsy store

Magnets

I now have magnets with images of my paintings. So I was looking on etsy, and seeing all these cute marble magnets and thought I'd give it a try. First I tried regular computer paper, but then I tried card stock, and that worked much better. I used mod podge to seal the picture before glueing it onto the marble. Bought some good 3/4" button magnets and E600 glue. I think they turned out good. I like them. I have Splendor In the Meadow magnet for sale at my etsy shop http://luvs2paint.etsy.com/ and will be posting more every day.

Strike a Pose

I was taking a look at all the birds that I have painted today and realized that pretty much all of them face the same direction... almost every single bird faces to the left. Weird, eh? Well, just because I have come to this realization, the next bird I paint is going to face the right.
