Renewed Focus On My Pyrographic Furniture

I have taken new pictures of some of my woodburned furniture to renew my focus on this medium I started working in, in 1978. Pieces are custom ordered, because I simply don't have enough storage space. I simply love pyrography and creating furniture pieces with it has been a passion of mine for many years. Almost every room in my home is adorned with my woodburned furniture.

No patterns are used in my art work. I burn the scenes freehand from my own imagination. No two pieces of furniture are exactly alike because none of the woodburned images are the same.

Hi Jean, didn't see your comment when I posted my thanks to Brenda. The technique is pyrography aka woodburning. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my furniture I create using this medium.

Our newest WWAO member, Maia Waye also works in this medium...on gourds and they're just awesome.
