Sunday Swim 2 Watercolor & Ink

Inspiration for this piece as well as a lot of my artwork is Lake Texoma, the largest lake here in Texas where I lived for over 15 years. The peace, tranquility, beauty and artistic inspiration I find there almost makes me cry. If you're a creative, artistic soul, then I'm sure you understand what I mean.

This watercolor and india ink painting is for sale on my official website under the WATERCOLOR section that I just started. It is not matted nor framed. It is painted on Strathmore 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Measures 12 x 9-inches. I used alcohol and salt effects with the watercolor to obtain the design within the colors that is more visible when you see the actual work.

Very nice work Sharon!

I looked at it upside down actually and I liked it that way, LOL!

Seriously, check it out! You don't have to stand on your head Sharon, just turn your screen around or your head, LOL!

I love your style Sharon. I am inspired by how many art mediums you work with.
It is exciting to get out of my little art box and grow!

Ruth you are so funny! I have the actual painting right here in my studio, so that would be easier to turn upside down. I'm ROTFLBMO! Yes I see what you mean. I painted this from a pic of a fish in an aquarium. :) He had/has a big eye like I painted.

Thank you Brenda. I love inspiring other artists. :) YOU keep painting those beautiful animal paintings.
