The full moon illumines an archway, set in a crumbling adobe wall, which opens to another world. The night sky, in shades of blue, deepening to indigo, is in monotone contrast to the sun-dappled autumn path beyond the gate. A single leaf has fallen on the path, to be a mystery the next day when the gate has closed. This visionary piece, part of the Shaman's Gate series (mystical landscapes of alternate realities), is in my private collection but is offered as an open edition giclée print.
